Always buy ORIGINAL JAGUAR FILTERS for your x type diesel!!
Original jaguar oil filter, I have used others before for example an OEM Bosch oil filter but the pattern and build is different! I had problems on my 2.2 dpf x 400 estate with the oil rising too high on dip stick.. after extensive research , forums etc apparently the oil does not flow through the oil filter quick enough thus backlogging up and rising up dipstick, not good for engine in my opinion. I found a fram oil filter that had exactly the same criss cross pattern as jaguars original and this filter was fine! Have a look at the different patterns yourself on line.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
