Classic Scent
I purchased this merely for the fact that it's from Cartier, not knowing exactly how it smelled like. Upon reception I realized it's very dry (which I personally love) and though at first it reminded me of another fragance, soon enough I realized this one has its own charm! A Nice Scent That Doesn't Last
I was lookig forward to receiving the Santos De Cartier by Cartier cologne based solely on the reviews on here and the fact that I already use other Cartier colognes. While Santos De Cartier by Cartier has a very nice, spicy and masculine scent, the one I received simply doesn't last. I'd say that the scent would dissipate by 50% after the first 2 hours of applying. This is using 2 to 3 sprays on my chest. Most beautiful fragrance, keeping its essence over decades
The product is excellent. The smell has remain the same or similar over decades. This is my favorite fragrance. The smell of the Concentree variety (gold stripe) is very similar to this one (silver stripe). After drying, both smell nearly identical to my nose. Buy any of the two varieties, both smell awesome. I like this old school evening wear fragrance for men. This eau de toilette has notes of coriander, basil, cedarwood, clary sage, sandalwood and I detect a leather tobacco note. It is a fragrance for a sophisticated mature gentleman. There is also a concentree version that has a stronger smokier scent. This edt has moderate sillage.
