Amazing camera
I bought this camera to use on my racing dinghy, the ability to get 360 degree video is just awesome. The videos are immersive and you find yourself watching it several times from different angles. This camera works very well with my iPhone 6. If you shoot in 4K the files are very big and my fast laptop is too slow to stitch the video. As my intended audience is YouTube I shoot in 2300x1260 and then stitch on my iPhone, it is faster than my PC. Hardware struggles to cope with what it says it can do and overheats

Okay picture, close to okay sound

Have Both
I there I have Both of these products gear 360 2017 and the gear 360 2016, I don't think the photos from the 2017 camera are anywhere near as good as the 2016 one, and I am still trying to decide about the audio, however the video quality is superb for such a little camera (also for a big camera lol) and that is definitely what I bought it for, the smaller size makes it possible to take it out with me far more often resulting in more practice Would I recommend, of course I would, but don't expect photos to be outstanding just buy it for the excellent video and valueVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Worth every penny.
Considering 360 video is technically still in it's infancy this attempt is a fantastic starting point to a world of fun and simple video making. The gear 360 is so lightweight and easy to use. The video quality is fantastic especially on a device that costs less than £150. While the image can look a tad low resolution at times it is to be forgiven because of the overall design and build quality.
