Bracoo neoprene knee support.
Been looking for a knee support since bad fall downstairs [could be tear but knees have always been weak from many falls, plus various illnesses. I am already disabled.
Back to knee support, was worried about fit, but regarding size, my knee measures 44 cm [around knee joint] and about 50cm [about 1-2inches above knee and my thigh gets bigger the higher you go, sadly not blessed with slim legs] and most supports would not have fitted.
As soon as you open packet [has instruction leaflet] you can see its made well, good quality and stretchy.
You apply the hole over your knee, do up that middle strap first, then the bottom and top one [straps are very stretchy], helps if you can do this either with leg outstretched or standing up if you are able.
Velcro helps keep it snuggly as you want in place.
The size is great for any size knee and above knee, straps as said are stretchy, good overlap and if you are lucky enough to have very slim knees from thigh downwards, it would fit you also as straps would double around.
I was concerned it may not help, but I was wrong, felt supported as soon as put on, knee felt 'safe' wasnt giving way or clicking and as pain ridden as beforehand and now its been around 4 days and still doing ok
[am amazed the help it has given] also the good thing is its easy to open and release.
Heat wise? not really had issues,
I have tried it with and without a bandage underneath and if I do find it may cause sweat then I shall just use a light bandage underneath it - but remember I am not as mobile, but really have not found it draws your skin.]
It is flexible so bending joint isnt a problem, so comfy wear it in bed too, though have had to make sure I loosen it abit and if need to take off at night? again easy to do with one hand.
Not washed it yet, but best to handwash in lukewarm, soapy water/
All in all been really taken aback at how this is helping as I had my doubts but am so so glad I got it, just hope it continues helping knee stability/healing, as I'm housebound so hospitals etc are a no no.
I would recommend this to anyone, no matter what age or how active/inactive you are if you need full knee support for the cap, sides and various illnesses, sprains/conditions..
It seems so far touchwood to be doing all it should be and believe me, I suffer enough agony all over my body top to toe, so getting a lot of relief on such a dodgy, giving way, clicky and agony knee has helped so very much.
