Right size. Right weight. Right price.
I was looking for a particular type of multi-USB port device, one that allows me to manually select any option of my choice. This one does just that. I connect a USB and USB hard-drive and can select my port as required. Disappointed
I bought the hub as 1 of the 3 USB ports in my laptop was being very temperamental and another has failed altogether. I therefore needed to extend the number of usb ports from the remaining one that was working perfectly. The extension cable/port system is as temperamental as the fitted ones in my computer occasionally working just fine, but mostly I get an error message saying the device has not been recognised and to try re-inserting it. Sometimes that works, but for the most part I have to wriggle the extension around and/or re-insert it (in any of the existing 3 ports in my computer, including the one which I thought does not work), which is time consuming and very frustrating! You get what you pay for, but as I've discarded the packaging I cannot reasonably return it. Also, I'm not entirely sure if the fault is with my computer, or the device.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I mainly bought it to connect few input/output devices to a single USB port on my laptop like wireless mouse-keyboard pair, wireless drawing tablet, and one USB Hard-disk drive. All of the devices work perfectly. I was fed up with wires here there and everywhere .This device helps to tidy your space and allows you to have four USB sockets in the one place . The switches on/off are handy as they save you unplugging when fully charged .The lights are a nice touch . Neat and versatile.
Small footprint so it doesn't take up much needed space. Short lead so no dangling wires. Four USB ports all individually switchable on or off with an led light to let you know which port is powered up. All in all a great bit of kit at a great price. Won't do what I hope for. Unit is ok.

Getting Stuck with Multiple HDD
It does seem to getting stuck over and over again when multiple hard disks are connected on its USB 2.0 ports. I connected a couple of Western Digital Passport hard-drives on its USB ports and I have to admit that the setup gets stuck about 6 times in a day. To resolve this I have to unplug the setup from laptop and wait for some time and plug it again which is a bit annoying considering that it is going to stuck again soon.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Won't work on my computer
My computer is quite old so this may be the problem. When more than one item is plug into the unit computer a display of ' Not enough power in hub'. If it is just my computer that is the problem then it's good value but I can't rate it to good.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
