  • Best secondary or tertiary camera for your kit

I primarily use Canon’s M50 DSLR camera as a secondary camera in my gig bag. I use it as a counterpart to my Canon RP camera. It does not shoot a full frame so I only use it as a video camera. Therefore if you’re looking for a well rounded camera that shoots full frame and 4K video I would suggest the canon EOS RP. PROS: - Delivers delivers cinematic 4K footage comparable to the RP camera. - Super light easy balancing on Ronin SC and other gimbals. - duel pixel auto focusing with FHD at 60fps frames makes it ideal for blogging or those who depend on auto focus. CONS: - It does require you to purchase a lens adapter to use Canon EF lenses. - The battery life is short with not many battery grips on the market or power adapter. - Does not shoot full frame photos

  • Great kit for a beginning photographer!

My first real camera. Boy, I done good This was a great deal --I worried about the quality of used, complex electronics, but photographers obviously take good care of their equipment. The 24mm-70m lens alone is worth more than a new Canon M50--retails for $1200 new. Research shows me that this Sigma lens is better than the kit lens M50 usually comes with, and is an excellent all purpose lens--macro to portrait to 70mm action(this actually becomes 112m after sensor cropping). The lens adapters were on my list as well, and are worth $250 by themselves. all of the extra equipment--batteries,Gorillapod tripod, Smallrig cage, etc was gravy on top, and happened to be a lot of the stuff on my recommended kit list. I bought the 22mm stm lens, but otherwise I needed nothing to say this kit is complete. In total, this was not just a camera, but a whole self-contained starter kit for a video/photo noob, just like me

  • Great camera! Canon needs more EF-M Lenses !!!!!!

This camera is very friendly! Easy to use, easy to understand, easy to hold. If canon would ever make a decent ef-m lens it would really help. Right now with the lenses offered my picture quality is very ok. I will hold on to this camera for now but my DSLR still has WAY BETTER picture quality. I'm going to hope they make a decent lens soon.

  • Love my Canon M50

I am happy with this little camera. It does everything I need in a compact form factor. - I have several of the lenses, so most focal lengths are covered. I also have an adaptor ring for my regular lenses. So I am recommending this as a great option, with a large sensor. I also have an older EOS M camera. While it is slow by comparison it works for landscape photos, which is really what I use cameras for. - I also have some larger Canon DSLR's that pair better with long heavy lenses.

  • Canon M50

I feel that is is the best camera for the price point and a very good starting camera for people to get into photography. This small camera has a solid build quality and is very intuitive to use. The kit lens is way better than I was expecting and is an amazing general use lens. The only real complaint I have is the battery life bu the batteries for this camera are cheap enough to carry around a few extras. I highly recommend this for all ages and all interests.

  • Hard-to-beat value proposition

I’ve done a lot of research on entry-priced cameras that have a reputation for punching well above their weight in terms of features and performance. The M50’s combo of performance and features is hard to beat. There are two things I don’t like about it: 1) The Canon M mirrorless lens mount is amazingly compact but lacks broad selection; and 2) the camera’s controls leave a lot to be desired for those who like to go full manual.

  • It's agreat asp-c camera.

The EOS M50 is a small and lightweight camera that is really fun to use. I purchased an adapter, so I can use my L series and other lenses with it. I do plan to purchase the lighter M series lenses for Hiking purposes.

  • Great for the price

Great dynamic range and shutter speed. I can go to a auto race and compete with cameras double the size and double the price. Great camera for the money
