Sturdy quality product at a great price.
Bought this light for my elderly Mother to use as a 'reading light' for when she is in bed. Very sturdy and stable - a must for safety - and very easily put together. The light is easily postioned by the side of the bed, however we could have done with a slighty longer wire as the plugs were not close to the bed.This was easily remedied by moving bed slightly closer to plug sockets in wall. The 'on and off' switch is just below the lamp and very easily reached by my Mother when she is laying in bed and the beam of light is also easily directed onto her books exactly where she wants it; The light produced is very bright and makes the print on her books easier to read with less eye strain. Lightweight sturdy day light lamp
I bought this lamp for my 80 year mother who was struggling to read at night with the usual lounge lamps/lights. Her optician had advised she only needed better light to read and not new spectacles. This lamp does just what is required, providing daylight quality illumination at all times, and at a very reasonable cost. compared with those magazine adverts that promise the same this is probably costs 5 times less!
