not rubbish, need work, limited use
need some work before they work well, the 2 pins on the spindle need to be bent over better to help stop jams, the casing needs to be bent in slightly to stop the ratchet gate falling out, these are better than a supermarket ratchet i once bought, but feel flimsy I wouldn't trust them on top of a car or trailer, ok for an awning or (inside) a van. interestingly, the workload sewn in label that's mentioned on the front of the box, that comes with more expensive equpminet is nowhere to be found :)Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Get what you pay for
1 of the ratchets broke after a single days use. Only used to store load within the back of the transit van but I would never consider using these on a open trailer or roof racks.
