I have used Motul 5100 for a few years, but have recently noticed that after about 500 miles, the gear shift gets notchy and the engine noisier, "it never used too", so have switched to Shell, and noticed straight away, an easier shift and quieter engine, on my NT700, After reading up and comparing the two oil's, Shell advance spec shows it can stand a slightly higher temperature than the Motul and it is also noticeable when poured in to the engine it seems to have more body/ viscosity in the oil, well happy with it

As I was thinking shell is a big renowned company in the world, oil would be perfect quality, but after using shell oil when I used Castrol oil that time I felt big difference between both of them. I have changed the Castrol oil three weeks before and I'm still happy and satisfied but with the shell oil after one week I couldn't ride motorbike easily and comfortably. So finally I will suggest you as shell is a renowned company you should be improved your quality.

Excellent value. Genuine, top brand motorcycle oil for less than the price of own brands or 'unknown' brands. Haven't ridden far with this oil in the sump, but it seemed fine. As I change the oil every 1000 miles (or so) the excellent price is appreciated.
