Creative Sound Blaster SB1570 Audigy FX 5.1 PCIe Audio Card - New-Sealed Box
Constant, low-pitched hum when I access the "LINE IN" input, even if no device is connected. I bought this to record old vinyl LPs to digital format via the Audacity format but this isn't possible with the humming noise. Also was pretty hard to install on my late-model HP desktop Windows 10 computer. Would've been a great value without the humming sound. N Creative sound Blaster Audigy FX SB1570 PCie
I installed it into a Windows 10 system computer that had a built in sound card that stopped working after I installed a video card with HDMI outputs. I installed it in the computer turned it on and it worked great. It came with a CD or DVD with the drivers and so I installed them and it quit working so I uninstalled all that the CD had installed and it works great again. Great product, some nice features
Great sounding card. What i like is i have two regular speakers running on it with a seperate amp and i have a seperate powered subwoofer that is configured through creative's software. HP Sound system in desktop does't work -- Buy this product instead!
The sound system on my new HP desktop kept crashing. After spending 5 hrs with HP warranty chat service I was told to reset my entire machine (which would delete all of the personalized data I have added to the machine and would take an additional 10 hours of my time) -- a solution that may or may not have solved the problem. I correctly purchased this Creative Sound Blaster and installed it in my machine. The only installation problems I encountered were due to HP's complete lack of instructions or a schematic, showing how their newer boxes opened up (different than earlier models). If you have a similar problem to mine with your new HP computer, buy this card and save yourself a lot of aggravation.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great Card. Easy to install
This was a very easy install on a DELL T7500 running windows 7. I am running a Blaster X 2.1 setup. It was really easy to tune with the Sound Blaster software provided. Box came with a CD that included drivers and Sound Blaster Audigy FX Control Panel. That aforementioned is what I used to tune my 2.1 setup. Sound quality is now great, crystal clear. There is incomparable difference to the on board sound. Have not tried head phones yet, but I am confident the results will be as good or better.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Didn't work after new Windows 10 update. Install directions and software for Win 7-8 only.
Instructions haven't been updated since the appearance of Win 10. Software is for Win 7 and 8 only, and if you don't realize that and install it according to the directions, you're in for a mess of problems. Finally came to my senses after an hour or so, and it installed automatically with Win 10 only, only to malfunction after a Windows Update. Sound was scratchy. De-installing the update only created more problems. Tried a clean inst all after deleting previous files and only succeeded in the sound card not being recognized at all. I could have just had a defective one to begin with, but ended up asking for a refund. By the way, this merchant reps New Egg, and New Egg ships the product, which will cost you a few extra dollars than going to New Egg directly.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
