Great as stereo, not so as Dolby.
Very comfortable to wear, high quality sturdy construction. I am not an audiophile, so for me sound is perfect, but only when connected directly to PC sound card or dedicated amplifier. Also microphone is nice and gives clear voice. Form the other hand, when connecting headset to included USB sound card there is constant hissing through headset which is especially strong when activating Dolby mode (with button on control box). There are many complaint on Internet about this hissing sound and no working solution yet. there is an advice to connect this USB card to a USB hub with its own AC controller, but I did not check it yet as I don't have such USB hub. Bottom line: Nice headset but better buy model without USB card (Cloud Revolver, not Revolver S) and save $30.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

alright overall
i think the headset is overpriced for the following reasons. it doesnt sit comfortably, im a bigger guy and my ears feel cramped inside, i dislike that i cant manually adjust the headset i find it sliding backwards on my head so i need to place the headband at the top of my head frequently. the 7.1 virtual surround isnt worth the price tag, the sound card isnt particularly great quality. i had better audio quality and spatial awareness by using the headset with the 3.5mm plug alongside dolby atmos for headphones/DTX sound unbound you need to use the windows volume mixer to adjust the volume if you arent using the control box/sound card USB dongle. this wouldnt be that big of an issue if it didnt remember the settings you had set using the usb dongle while switching over to the 3.5mm plug which means if you had the volume dial turned up all the way with the dongle and then switch to the 3.5mm it effectively triples the volume. i found that the sweet spot for me is about 20-25 on the windows volume mixer after switching to 3.5mm and it's still quite loud it has decent features. it feels durable audio quality overall isnt bad once i switched to 3.5mm and the detachable mix is a good feature though i find there's no comfortable spot for the mic while wearing it, it gets bumped around a lot especially while drinking i think part of the issue is that it has built in mic sound filter which forces me to keep it fairly close to my face while in a call with friends and again this leads to me awkwardly angling drinks around it while playing a game when i want to quickly drink some water or whatever while in a game and dont have time to readjust the micVerified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Mehhhh I guess it's ok
Here are the worst things about this mic: 1.) my voice sounds like I'm talking down a long hallway to my friends (I've changed settings and this is still an issue) I think it's because of the noise cancelling mic or something. 2.) the game and voice volume are not separate, turning up or down the volume adjusts both. 3.) the placement of the dongle on the cord doesn't make any sense whatsoever and the volume knobs are in very inconvenient places. (super easy to bump on accident) 4.) Being corded is a lot more of an inconvenience than I thought it would be. The decreased latency is noticeable compared to my wireless Turtle beach's, but I would say it's hardly helpful. Worth the price
Fantastic and easy to set up. I can't say if the Surround Sound is worth the price difference for everybody, but it is a very nice addition. My computer set up is near a window with neighbors walking past and it definitely helps drown out all the noise they make.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Best for big guys
