The machine is fitted with a single sleeve keyless chuck, to enable easy bit installation and removal. The Makita TD127D Impact Driver tough lightweight impact driver with an overall length of 138mm great for getting into hard to reach areas around the site, using one touch bit changing and a bright LED work light with useful pre-glow and afterglow functions. The TD127D impact driver use a lightweight 4 pole motor, reverse switch, electric brake The G-series range from Makita is a different lithium-ion battery platform to the Makita.

Compact drill and driver, enormous case.

Drill & Driver great.. case a waste of time..
The Drill and Driver are fine and powerful, would give them 5 Stars if it wasn't for the brittle carry case that will not last a day in the back of my van. The case for the Makita Jr3050 Saw is a different material and is tough, had to put these in an alloy flight case to protect them. Makita Drill driver and impact driver combo
I have only had these tools about a week, I have used Makita tools for about thirty years and have always found them to be of good quality and very reliable each previous one having lasted in excess of ten years in each case it has been the batteries that eventually fail to hold a useful charge as the reason for replacement, as battery technology moves on the old ones become either un-economic to replace or just un-available. These new drivers appear to be of the quality that I expected and come complete with a useful carry case with ample room for bits etc, I’m sure I will get years of good usage from these toolsVerified purchase: YesCondition: New

The case is not the one provided by the manufacturer which means you may as well use a carrier bag as everything rolls about inside as it is carried.
