Good for a Surface Pro
Got this item to connect my MacBook Pro to a monitor for "working from Home". However, it didnt fit. My fault, I didn't realise the MacBook Pro didn't take a Thunderbolt connection and needed a type C connection. Doesn't work
I am sorry to have to put a negative review but I'm afraid this product does not work. I have a MacBook Air and used to use my housemate's USB-HDMI adaptor to watch programmes streamed from my laptop on the big TV screen. It always worked fine. When my housemate moved out, I bought this product to replace it. It physically fits both Firebolt and HDMI ports fine, so I am guessing it is a hardware problem with the adaptor.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I just want to confirm for others that, although the description specifies that this for Mac-based computers, this also works perfectly fine on my Windows 10 computer. I hope this helps inform any interested buyers! The price for this is also very very good! My local PC World sells this for £30 apparently, which is just ridiculous! Visual is perfect. audio not transferring from my old macbook pro
