Rolls Royce of Camera Straps
I've always been a fan of wrist straps for cameras, and have own several different types. This latest Peak Design offering is far and away the best I've ever used. The design and construction are top notch, and the cuff is only part of a compatible camera strap system - conventional neck and shoulder straps are also available. The loops that attach to the camera itself may look a bit small, but they can support a weight of 200lbs! The cuff itself is duofunctional, in that the camera can either hang loose on the wrist, or be tightened around the wrist for even greater security. The strap is supplied with two loops, and extras are available in packs of four. I have loops on all my camera bodies for quick and easy swap ability. The loops can be attached to either/both strap points on the camera, though I personally prefer to use the left one, as this enables me to change lenses easily. Simple, elegant, well thought-out. Not so expensive, after all.
This seemed expensive to me, but after using one in the field for 2 full days I found it is also elegant, simple and very well thought-out - there’s really nothing I’d change. Less is more. It has the feel of something that will last, is comfortable to wear and doesn’t chafe, irritate or catch on things. It isn’t heavy, stiff or fiddly, takes only a moment to comprehend the mechanism and 2 clips are included, so you can use 2 cameras with the one strap, as supplied. It worked exceptionally well with my Fuji X100, almost as though designed for it, although I’m quite certain it would work well with a much heavier camera. Great strap with one proviso.
Excellent quality and looks good. Design is great, except..the metal part of the strap is a mistake in my opinion. It can scratch your expensive camera so I've covered it in tape, which is less than perfect. Otherwise, a good quality product at a good price.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Different but maybe no better
The cuff is an excellent product and I will often have it on a mirrorless or full frame DSLR if I'm not using the Slide strap. This is the Mk2 version of the cuff and I also have the Mk1. I'm not sure the Mk2 is any great improvement. It probably looks nicer, but then I'm concerned that the smart alu buckle might scratch the camera.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
