Quieter than before.
The good: - It is 10dB quieter than my old 406 filter. According to my meter, noise level at 10cm away from filter is less than 37dB. - three trays will provide more than enough media capacity for my 300L planted tank. The bad: - The flowrate drops to zero when the hose outlet is roughly 1.6m above filter.
