Ideal for Hiking
It’s an interesting charging system with a USB lead direct to the battery cutting out the need for a charger. The downside of the system with small AA batteries it limits the battery capacity as there has to be room for the micro USB socket, led charging light and the electronics. The upside is that with the short charging lead it’s all very light. This makes it ideal for say hiking/camping where a USB power bank can charge up the batteries as well as mobile phones and cameras.
