All in all great blower !
Plenty of power in the boost mode but it eats the juice in the battery. A little heaveyer than I expected but less than gas. I have a tiny yard and 3 batteries so I’ll be fine when the leaves really fall. Can’t wait to use it in the winter to clear the deck if we get snow!!

Is only acceptable with the 5 ah battery.
The unit appears to be of good quality. However I am accustom to the BP42 Gas which has considerable more power. The electric unit just does not have enought power to service my needs. Also mine came with a 2ah battery which would only last 7 minutes on regular speed and only 2 minutes on turbo. If the proper battery the 5ah had come with the unit as advertised I possibly would have kept the unit. Loving the Ryobi Backpack Blower
I don't have to worry about the carb getting all gunked up with my new Ryobi Backpack Blower. The weight of the blower is mangeable, even with two 40v batteries. Worth it. But get extra batteries.
Has spots for two batteries and you'll need them both to run for any decent amount of time. It has a turbo feature that blows fairly powerful but it's only for two minutes. Then you have to let it rest for a bit to do the burst again. Powerful and quiet.
This is a great blower. The box rates it at 59 decibels. It is so quiet, that it gives you an illusion that it can't be blowing very hard, but in both blowing junk out of my rocks and blowing stuff leaves/grass down my driveway, it compares very similarly to the echos and stihls I used to use at work. It does have a very slow start when you first pull the trigger, but it doesn't bother me that much. This blower is set up like gas blower fan, not like most of the tiny turbo fans the other companies use in their electric blowers. The 5 amp hour battery lasts probably 20 mins on turbo, but longer if you don't use the turbo button. You can also attach 2 batteries to this blower which is also a lot nicer than other electric blowers in this price range.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
