Dustopper, works perfectly at a bargain price
This thing works... I totally cleaned my shop vac and filter with compressed air...put the dustopper on and started using it. After cleaning up a large pile of lathe shavings, I checked the shop vac and it was almost perfectly clean... I shook out about a teaspoon of very fine dust from the shop vac filter... It’s terrific! I’d buy it again in a flash!

Works as advertised!
This is a great product! I have been researching cyclone separators since I clogged the filter on my wet dry vacuum numerous times. There are a few inexpensive models available for under $75 but the others I looked at required drilling holes, caulking, etc... With this one you just snap it onto a standard 5 gallon bucket attach the hoses and you’re ready. Probably took 2 minutes, literally! It works great, keeping almost all my he dust away from the filter inside my vacuum. This keeps the suction at a high level which is important. For the price the design does keep the majority of the dust out of the vac and off the filter. Though due to the low profile design it does allow some dust through.
