Product of the century - discontinued?
I can't say enough good about this wikireader. My first one died after several years, and I was amazed to see them discontinued. Honestly, I never liked the less-than-stellar screen, so before looking for another one of these, I was pretty sure the same data would be available for an e-reader, tablet or laptop - and with a much more readable screen. Sure, you can log onto Wikipedia, but for a non-Internet device, for whatever reason (probably licensing issues), the wikireader's staggering amount of data is just not available on or for any other device. Long story short? Accept the screen and the eyestrain; if you can even find one of these, grab it, consider yourself blessed, and hang on to that baby for dear life.
