Brings the essentials together in one place.
This ABRSM publication contains 3 pieces from each of the 3 sections of the syllabus. There is a separate booklet for the piano accompaniment. A code at the back of the book allows you to download digital files of the accompanied pieces or piano part only, up to five times, from ABRSM web site. There is a complete list of the remaining 7 choices in each section inside the book. The required scales, arpeggios, dom & dim 5ths & chromatics are written out + required speeds. There are some handy practice sight reading samples too. So, you have most of what you need to prepare for your grade (all grade books follow this format). You’ll have to check out the other pieces elsewhere & prepare for the aural section. I have no hesitation in recommending this book at any grade. It brings together various components in one handy book, which saves me, at any rate from riffling through a pile of books, looking fir what I need.
