First, this product rates five stars because the book itself is such nice quality compared to most that are sent out into the world these days. It is a first edition, the paper is very good, the quality of the ink is very good, being bold and easy to read, and miracle of miracles I did not see even one typo. As an old codger it is still important to me that publications are properly edited, and I don't have to interrupt my reading to think "oh no, not another one!!". Caroline Graham didn't write many novels, but she did write about six that were the basis of the British show Midsomer Murders. This particular novel is a stand-alone story. It is a fun read, witty, and with great use of language. You might need a dictionary. I'm going to read it again with a note pad so I can record clever insults and great new words (to me). PS. If anyone from eBay reads this, it is time to remove your comment "awesome sauce" to my rating of five stars. It is already dated.Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
