The Shubb C1 Nickel Plated Capo is suitable for most electric and acoustic guitars. The Shubb Capo is 2" wide and curved to hug the fretboard to ensure superior grip and tuning. Simple, functional, practical.
I have marked this as good value and whilst I'm not in the habit if recommending stuff, I can say that I have a number of rather expensive flat top guitars , I use those expensive picks but see no reason to use anything but this particular model of Shubb capo. I have a separate capo for each guitar kept in its own pickbox in the case. I answered "enjoyable only because to NOT say yes gets complicated. Best capo I have!
Tried many capos to date, Kyser very good but enormously strong spring ... Shubb recommended by my guitar techer and it is wonderfully light and unobtrusive! Perfect Capo.
On first sight my comment was 'wow'. It is so well crafted and appealing to the eye. On use it is easily the best capo I have ever used. It clips on easily and is a dream to adjust. It is compact and holds the strings down perfectly. One slight drawback - it is not cheap but as this is an item you will be using for years it is well worth the outlay. Must have capo for every guitarist
This is brilliant, till now I was using a quick change capo (normal spring loaded). With the Shubb I dont have to retune for capo as it does not exert unnecessary pressure on the strings. After avoiding expensive capos for decades and relying on my faithful old Jim Dunlop 'Sylvester' [*] style one; as the braided strap is at last showing signs of wear, I finally decided to treat myself. By far the best capo
after trying to save money by buying cheaper capos, I just bought three of these. Other capos need the guitar retuning every time you move them, they get in the way of your thumb, or scratch the neck of your guitar. The Shubb capo doesn’t..
