Ronseal products tend to be good, they do what they say on the tin. Very easy to put on either using a brush or cloth. It does have a strong smell so if you get affected by fumes then do it outside and leave it there until dry. You’ll need to reapply every 6 months to a year.

I bought a house recently that has high quality wooden gates that sadly have been untreated for years. I tried teak oil to bring some life back to the wood rather than paint them with some kind of stain / protector. After thoroughly cleaning all the stains / algae etc. off the gates I then applied the Teak Oil. The gates look stunning. The grain has been highlighted and at the same time the natural colour deepened giving them back their high quality look. I applied the oil very easily with a white cotton cloth and then brushed oil into the nooks and crannies. Very good product.
