Not a quality part
Well after the part arrived it looked like a quality part for my sander. I've only used it once or twice and today it's life ended abruptly when the pad separated from the attachment. There was no sign of any glue etc just a clean break. My previous pad had lasted me many many years of use including a full sanding down of my mx5 before respray. I wouldn't recommend this part and I won't be purchasing another personally.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Sealey 6" Backing Pad. Bad design. Does not work. Not recommended.
Although it looked fairly well made, it fell apart within a few minutes of normal use. The threaded bolt that fixes the disc to the sander is only attached by a small washer embedded in the plastic disc & is far too flimsy to do the job & tears out easily, so the design simply does not work. Definitely NOT recommended.
