Tried all the other simple phones and my mother still got confused with them, so although a lot more expensive I finally tried this Dora 780 X, and wish I’d purchased it ages ago. My mum is 85 and has dementia but finds this phone nice and easy to use to call the three contacts,and it’s also had a lovely loud ring and volume for her to hear.

Like other reviews I read before buying it’s not too easy to set up. In particular the vital button to open settings is not obvious even from the diagram. Eventually my son found it and I was able to finish setting it up for my 90 years old Mum. I think it will be easy to use for her now, though she’s not yet tried it.
