A great flexible 2 in 1 premium laptop
A pleasant surprise even after doing so much research and watching video reviews before buying it. The design, build quality and colour scheme are top notch - the Spectre x360 14" Nightfall black (actually dark brown) just looks gorgeous and is a joy to watch and use - the 3:2 aspect ratio display makes a huge difference to the overall experience. The IPS display is sharp, bright and responsive, the backlit keyboard is clear, tactile and fairly intuitive, while the Intel i5 processor and the SSD are zippy enough - I just use it for browsing, office apps and occasionally to watch videos or listen to radio and music (the speakers are adequate, but I usually use Bluetooth wireless headphones). Things to improve - USB-C port on the left side please (as it happens my walls' main are on the left), perhaps another dimmed backlight level for the keyboard (I find the lights under the keys quite bright in the dark) and, if not already there, an on screen key that can lock/unlock the display, so that it doesn't go wild when 'flexing' the laptop between its various positions.
