Great pickup for distortion rock guitar
I paired this EMG 60 with an EMG 81 and the 60 sounds great in the bridge, rather than the recommended neck position. The 60 has plenty of low end and the much-loved EMG growl in the bridge position. A very articulate pickup as well, the 60 has great individual string definition even while distorted. It is the clearest ceramic pickup I've heard. The 60 would work well with an EMG 85 and EMG 57 too.
