Carlin at his bitter and angry worst!
On the plus-side, Carlin is as sharp-witted as ever. On the down-side, this is not the Carlin of old ... here, he is over-the-top angry, bitter, dark, and hateful throughout his tirade on what's wrong with people. His suggestion to solve to the world's problems is to promote mass-suicide followed with a vision for an apocalyptic end to the earth. Other than a couple of insightful observations about what's wrong with government, the media, and industry, the rest of the material sinks to new lows: treating topics ranging from cannibalism to necrophilia as if they should be funny. Carlin had the sense to cancel broadcast of his "People love it when a lot of people die" show that was recorded just before 9/11/2001. Too bad he didn't retire then and leave a better legacy! Unless you enjoy being verbally assaulted and depressed, avoid this 2005 "Life is Worth Losing" drek!Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned
