Beauty of simplicity
When JJ Project announced their comeback and said, that Verse 2 will be simpler and more about the struggles (of youth), they weren't lying. First listening left me speachless, the album is full of great melodies and deep meanings, JJs' voices are soothing, but powerful... Coming home is about living your dream, but missing your family, friends, realization how far from everything you are. Jinyoung wrote this while he was up in the clouds 'coming home' and you can tell the song is odly bitter-sweet. Tomorrow, Today describes how hard it is to decide 'which way to go'. Everyone was there, not able to tell which decision is the right one. On&on comes after Tomorrow, Today, when you finally decided, yet everyone keeps doubting you, telling you what you should do differently and shouldn't have done at all. Legend has it, that Icarus fell from the sky, because he didn't listen to his master. In this song every doubt and hate makes Icarus stronger and he 'will prove it'. Don't wanna know and Find you are the two slightly romantically minded songs in this album. One is about the one person staying by your side, even if it was some time ago and now you are left with heart 'bruised and colored blue'. Second is about not giving up on this love, about second chances and trying to fix mistakes. Personal bonus tracks are Jinyoung's The Day and JB's Fade away. Verse 2 packaging reminds me of a paperback book, pages are full of vintage like photos taken by (if I recall correctly) film camera. The album also comes with lyric card, some photocards and retro poster - depends which version of this album you bought. I love to listen to this album when I get home tired (more like mentally exhausted) from work, when feeling blue or when travelling to someone I haven't seen for years.

Simple yet beautiful.
It was the first time I saw this kind of product by JYP, even the pack was different, simple yet beautiful. Images had incredible quality, paper was thick enough, it brought a lot of extra products (such as 2 photocards + a clear photocard, a mini poster and a postcard with lyrics in the back) and if I had more to say it will be about the set. It's just perfect, the way every little part around them makes it feel more meaningful and captivating. Again, JYP entertainment always has amazing products for us.
