Like most recipe books now it's biased towards Veggies. I am from a generation of carnivores and found it disappointing. If this is what Type 2 is all about then there's little hope for me. Having said that it is amazingly put together by these two best mates, and if followed to the letter superb results can be achieved. Lovely book, could have been better.
I really like the book and recipes. The only negative point is that although it gives calories for each meal, being a book for people suffering with diabetes I personally would have liked a carbohydrates count for each recipe too.
