  • An intriguing personal memoir

Although the author is not an accomplished writer, he manages to convey the atmosphere of the period and to shed light on numerous backroom characters - writers, producers, technicians etc - who kept the cogs of the machine going. It is a good-hearted and generous book which provides insight on a fascinating creative period. The stories from the 70s are just great and Laurence Myers was in the thick of it.
