    Not perfect...

Don’t get me wrong.. I’ll say good quality, quickly delivered, and recommended! The bracket could be more substantial though, and it wouldn’t be described as universal amongst propane bottles due to differences in the lips/tops/handles. If you’re prepared to put up with a suspect mount, or fabricate an adaptor, it’s fine, but realise that you are still using matches or similar. Definitely worth having, but only 4/5.

For what it is, should be cheaper!!

Built to a price & clearly a cheaper one than I paid. Mounting bracket is flimsy and not well designed. Held on by 3 small wing nuts. It's just a cheap design that isn't really stable. A locking bar on the bucket prevents heater being tilted level, like in the photo, so it always points down. Amazingly, it has no spark lighter, so you have to use matches or another lighter. That's a real pain. They put in a safety valve mechanism, so gas goes out with no flame. The sort of standard push down, turn and hold until the sensor gets hot. But doing this whilst trying to light is not easy. The push down part could easily have had a spark light built in. Hose length is Finland all appears safe. The regulator has the standard nut /spanner arrangement to tighten to the bottle. Could have been easier with a thumb wheel, so it can be tightened by hand, like on my BBQ. Getting a spanner in is awkward.

  • Works well, but needs care in use.

Very good item, bags of heat output. There's no shutoff valve on the heater. As my gas bottle is on the ground floor of my garage and my workshop on the first floor, I have fitted a longer feed tube. I might not remember to go and switch off at the bottle when I pack up each day and cause me to leave it on all night, which would be annoying. If your bottle is next to the heater, there's no problem. The stand is a little small too, so I've fastened mine to a larger piece of plywood so that knocking it over is unlikely. The reflector gets very hot, don't let anything fall on it!

  • Handy heater during this cold January

Delivered on first day estimated. Small unit easy to store, simple quick fitting or removal from cylinder rim, Mobile enough for local area heating or placing away from the work area for background warmth in my small workshop (Double garage)

  • Great little Heater

I bought this to heat my block built shed which is approx 14' x 10' x 9'. It really punches out some heat after a couple of minutes on high setting I have to turn it to low. With freezing conditions outside the (badly insulated and draughty shed stays very warm. I did have some misgivings but these have been proved unfounded and am really pleased with it and feel it was more than worth the money. The only minor fault I can find is the bracket that holds the gas adjusting knob is a bit thin. I cant comment on how it will wear as I have only used it for a week but 5 stars up to now.

  • Instant.

Instant heat with propane. Butane cannot cope with low temperatures. Mounting bracket could be more rigid. That's my only niggle.

  • This is a superb addition to my needs, Warms this area up quite quickly, 100%satisfied

This was an impulse, needed something, to get area heated quickly. Bought a 12v 5kw Diesel heater, Drank fuel like water. Gas works out great saving, Well in this situation. APPLICATION WELL RECOMMEND 100%SATISFIED

  • Heats up my garage/workshop rapidly.

Agree the clamp is inappropriate, it does hold onto a gas bottle, but it's wobbly. I inserted a length of rubber Inthe clamp to make it work. Otherwise it's simple and effective. Looks very "industrial".

  • Portable gas heater.

Excellent product especially as a caravanner I have propane gas bottles therefore no need for extra cost. I had to make an adapter as my gas bottles are the lightweight variety and the bottle clamp with the heater wouldnt fit.

  • Good heater

Excellent heat. A little pricey due to coming from UK. The propane threads are different than US bottles. Same thread pitch, but slightly larger diameter. All in all, a good heater and you can't find ceramic heaters like this in the US anymore.
