About this product

Product Information

Ben and Katie Jordan juggled family, careers and tuna casserole until something finally tumbled from their grasp. Now, 15 years after saying "I do," each is thinking "I'm done." Can marriage survive 15 years of marriage? The answer to that question comes in The Story of Us, a knowing and witty tale that explores the rarely filmed terrain lying between separation and possible divorce. Rob Reiner directs, peppering the narrative with flashbacks and comic relief (provided by Rita Wilson, Tim Matheson, Reiner himself and others). And Bruce Willis and Michelle Pfeiffer starring as Ben and Katie, crafting a touching and bracingly real portrait of a couple who, faced with a trying marriage, come to realise that they want to - they must - keep trying.

  • A film portraying the difficulties in marriage and how to overcome them.

This DVD is a must for any married couple to see, whether they have good marriages or not. Is it raw, pithy and cuts straight to the heart of where so many marriages fail. The final scene with Michelle Pfieffer's dialogue is so very relevant to the issue of why men and women are different and how they can learn to appreciate these differences and stick out the marriage journey. A 10 out of 10 from us, who have been married for 36 years and have let other couples see this film.
