Keeps my toe totally protected. It last for months as I use it long after the gel has subsided too. I just wash it after it's aged. I've used these for a lot of years and I've recommended them to a friend who wears them on every toe when walking long distances! This is the second one of these toe protectors I have purchased. Actually, I am still using the first one after several weeks. As it is too long for my toe, I have cut it in half which gives me another product which I can use whenever I get a corn on top of one of my small toes. I would defiantly recommend this, I have a corn on the side of my big toe and it wasn't healing and was always painful, but since wearing this it has helped so much and I'm in no pain now because of it.
