Canon EOS 100D
I haven't been into photography for two years, due to lack of time, so recently I decided to take it up again. I was torn between the 100D and the 1300D as while the latter had a wifi option, this camera had overall better specs. As it has been a while, I was pleasantly surprised with the cameras user interface, as it's simple to use and suggests tips for how to use each camera mode, which was greatly appreciated. My previous camera was the 1000D which, compared to this one, feels ancient! Unlike the 1000D, this camera does have a video option, though if you're looking for a camera with the focus being on shooting video, then perhaps this isn't the best option, as this camera seems more suited for pictures but, nonetheless, this is a very cheap and fun little DSLR than can easily keep up with the other, more expensive options but with half the size!! Excellent compact
Aside from not having an articulated screen, this camera offers alomst all the functionalty of it's larger DSLR stablemates, including 1080p video. It's a scaled down DLSR that still takes all the same APS-C lenses the larger Canon DSLRs do.
