No good for elasticated socks
I bought this for my 88 year old mother to help her putting her elasticated stockings on. It requires a lot of strength to both pull the elastic stocking over the frame and to push the foot through the sock to put it on. It might work OK for very loose socks but is no use to my mother.

Unable to use
It is so difficult to get the sock over the aid. At 80 yrs old, I was unable to use it due to arthritis in my wrists Well made , however.
