Completely useless, can not locate anything with any reliability

Need to try a Bosch.
Doesn't really do anything with any reliability. Long winded calibration needs to be done every time. Ridiculously over sensitive AC detection to over 500mm away from the source. Cannot be calibrated for this. A child's toy and nothing more.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

I'm an engineer and find this very inaccurate. Far too sensitive to ac volts and it was unable to find a pretty big joist in my ceiling. Instruction pics are so bad I had to download the manual.
