Useless in my country
Being in Northern Ireland and briefly having my bike taken from outside my own front door which was sitting there for no more than 30 seconds, I took all action in reporting it stolen on the immobilise website and reporting it to the Police Service of Northern Ireland. To find out the PSNI doesn't have the resources to scan the tag, they never did have the resources in scanning tags of anything let alone a tag from immobilise. I have written a similar review about this on the Halfords website that it should be taken off the shelves of stores in Northern Ireland, whether it got approved is anybodies guess.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great theft deterent
I think the Tag is a great security device for minimal cost, The tag is a unique radio frequency identification transmitter and is the sysyem used by the police to locate stolen bikes,according to the literature the tag also very diffficult for thieves to remove once fitted.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
