Quality Portable Practice Pad
This is a great little practice pad. It's so small & portable that there's no excuse for not working on your chops almost anywhere! Nice gum rubber surface on a steel base provides a very playable surface & it really feels like a quality product. The wide Velcro strap secures the pad effectively to your leg, & the foam padding on the underside makes it nice & comfortable to wear. Due to the foam backing, it can also be used on a table-top, although it does tend to move around a little due to lack of weight, but if that's how you want to practice, get a table-top pad! Another observation, & it's not really a criticism, is that the sound given off has a metallic 'ping' which is not really to my liking, but it does give good aural feedback on your stick articulation, so that's just personal preference I guess... I'll get over it! All in all, a great wee pad for warming up prior to performances & the like. Very glad I bought it.
