I bought this item for what I thought was a good price, £11.65 inc. postage and since then I’ve only seen the price around £23 + postage. I would not recommend this product for at a price of more than what I paid.
The cut out on the top of the small shelf is huge compared to the leg that goes in in, the legs aren’t all the same length so it wobbles a bit, you can see the glue in every join, and it doesn’t come with assembly instructions.
However, it looks fine from a distance and both my guinea pigs live laying under it, either inside or out in their run. Only one gets on top, but it’s by far one of their most favourite things and I d bought a lot for them.
Will only replace if I can find a suitable probe again.
Lovely product and cavies love it but took alot of adjusting and jiggling to get it to stand. I know it is a rustic product and that is what drew me to it and on that count it could not be better. The price was excellent and arrived quickly. But what really lets it down is in order to get it to stand without wobbling dangerously and, after trying all the legs in different screw holders, I have had to have one of the legs barely in the screw opening of the platform. Unfortunately i have arthritis in my hands otherwise i might saw the legs a bit more level but at least it is not quite so wobbly. So a little disappointed but boys are happy so I am.
