auto gearbox ecu
Although it was very cheap it is not the right unit for my car it states it is for a BMW330i but it was from a BMW320i so it would not work on my car.

BMW E46 limp mode
My E46 325ci went into limp mode and when driven did not get out of 3rd gear. The circle of death was on the dash also. I swapped the gear box ECU and it worked straight away back to normal. Check the serial numbers are similar and similar to your own and you shouldn’t go far wrong.
