eBay tracking of this order was as inaccurate as ever. It was delivered yesterday but it's not expected until Tuesday 23rd even though it was sent "DPD next day"? ... Never mind. The unit was fitted yesterday and operates all the doors and hatch on the central locking system just fine. How long it will continue to do so remains to be seen as I've replaced previous used units more than once before. These used units are all of a similar age and seem to develop similar faults accordingly.
