I bought these speakers to have an alternative to my Genelec. They do sound very different indeed, which is what I want. The mids freq are more pronounced and the treble sound a bit harsh in comparison. But...., that’s exactly what I was hoping. These seem really to facilitate scrutinising the mix I’m doing in details to make sure it sounds good in as many system as possible. The first day I used them I immediately heard a couple of issues in my mixes that I couldn’t spot on my Genelec.
