This Sony SEL1018 lens has 10 mm - 18 mm focal length, being practical for wide angle shoots. All rounder general purpose lense
If you want everything from one lense, this is the lense for you. From wide angle to telephoto. It is not very heavy nor light. I am happy to carry this lense attached to camera all day long. Over all I am happy with lense.

Sony 10-18 f4 OSS
I took this lens out for a days shooting, down by the river Thames. The results were very pleasing. The results were nice and sharp and the colours impressive. There is a degree of barrel distortion, particularly when shooting RAW. I post process in Lightroom, so for me this is not a problem. I use it on a Sony A6000 which I am told corrects this in camera when shooting JPEG. I always shoot RAW so have not tried this. Nice compact lens which sits well on the A6000.
