Very good value for money
As an installer of electric gate systems I fit many intercom systems a year. I came across this one and decided to give it ago as it met my customers requirements. Something simple to use but affective. The unit is simple to install with the audio/video only using 4 wires between the call station and the monitor then 2 extra for power to the monitor. However the instructions are not so clear for the keypad sie of the call station. I only required a volt free activation from the keypad so normally you wouldn't require a 2nd PSU. On this unit you do need a 2nd PSU as the keypad also uses this for power and the instructions do not make this clear. It does show using a 2nd PSU but only to power an electric lock. Turns out the keypad needs this PSU to power aswell and not use the power already coming into the unit for the audio/video. If you are thinking of buying this be aware you do need a 2nd PSU at least 12v DC 1 amp to power the keypad and a handy little relay to create a volt free activation. I would have given 5 stars if this had been made clear in the description.
