Works well and easy to use though optimal resolution panoramas are SLOW
This product produces panoramas from most any number of overlapping shots from the same vantage point -- overlapping pans. The default output is a very low resolution -- much lower than the pictures you took -- but takes only a few minutes to stitch together. However stitching 12-18 5MB shots (not all that dense by today's standards) and outputting the panorama with "optimal" resolution at "100% quality" can take a good 15 minutes or more! That said, it does do a very nice job and is easy to use and the price is great. The installation is smooth and support is theoretically available, though it really amounts to using their community website -- much like Microsoft and many others software companies provide. The software also says it can work with videos and uses QuickTime (you get a choice of installing it or not). I haven't tried that feature. All in all a good product that I would recommend to anyone who wants to give panoramas a try without spending a lot of money.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
