Xootr Quality
Lucked out and got a slightly used one from Xootr. I wouldn’t hesitate to pay full price after unboxing my MG. $250+ for a new kick scooter sounds like a lot until you see one. This is no rattling Razor. This thing is solid, clean, and really sweet looking! Also, it’s one of the few that is Big-Man Approved! The best adult scooter; still needs some work
Overall, this is a great quality scooter. The deck is big enough for adult feet and has held up well when riding. The handbrake is super useful and greatly appreciated. As noted by other reviewers, the ride is a little bit rough since the wheels are solid and the scooter has no suspension or shocks whatsoever. Still no too bad. My main complaint is that even with handlebars fully extended, it still isn't tall enough for my liking. I'm tall at 6'2" but not overly tall. Something closer to the height that Bird/Lime scooters have would be preferable. Also, the handlebars tend to sink back into the column whether the lock is engaged or not, so you can't put any downward pressure whatsoever on the handles- not useful for some scooter riding. This is absolutely the best adult kick scooter I have found, but it still needs improvement. (especially for the price)Verified purchase: YesCondition: Pre-owned

Very used scooter
It seems the scooter in general is quality. This used scooter needed to have the wheel bearings replaced front and back and needed a new front brake kit as well as the retaining pin that holds the scooter in the folded or riding position. Great deal on a perfect used scooter!
This is exactly what I needed for commuting to work on the bus. It has been very reliable and has no problem with my weight. And trust me, finding a scooter that can manage a plus size person is pretty hard. Finding one without spending several hundred dollars or more on a motorized scooter is harder. Xootr is the vest
What’s not to love about this scooter? It’s simple, well-made, and rides like a dream. I was looking for a scooter to ride with my son and though there are lots of options in the market, Xootr stands out. It is good value for your money and the lifetime warranty is well worth it. One of the reasons I bought the Xootr is because my sister who has two Xootr scooters has had them since 2009 and still rides it! Talk about quality!
