Decent for the price, but it tends to 'stick' during use.
The top plate isn't centered quite right, causing the crusher to get stuck after the can is crushed. Luckily I hadn't attacked it to the wall yet so with the use of a butter knife and a few good whacks I was able to remove the can. The fix is simple after that, simple use your finger to center the top plate while pulling up on the lever. It is an annoying malfunction but considering the price I paid I'm not surprised. Other reviewers are also spot on about creasing the can before putting it in the crusher. Without that crease (bend) in the can it is extremely difficult to work the crusher. But with the crease it requires very little force to compact soda cans.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Cans can fly
Although it is a good idea, it lacks something that would make it better. There are times when the can will begin to crush unevenly, and when that happens, the can will fly out of the crusher. One thing that will help keep it from ejecting, is to make sure the opening of the can is on the side facing you. I believe that is because the can's opening is the weakest part of the top, so it crushes the easiest. I would think a curved ridge, a 1/4" tall, along the base plate would help hold the can in place until it was crushed.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Junk
It bent in the first half hour, sent pictures and the next day they wanted to replace it and when I said what about if the new one does the same , the next day they said they were all out and for me to send it back. Not all 12 oz cans fit
Seems like good quality but the claim of 12 oz. beverage can crusher is not accurate. Some 12 oz cans are too tall to fit into the crusher. Keystone Light for instance. If you are buying it to crush a certain canned beverage, be sure the can will fit.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
