Water filter jug
Black lid doesn’t fit fully, so have to be careful when pouring. Clips on small pouring lid are weak so I will have same problem as my last jug which was the small lid fell off because the lugs came off.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Annoying Loose Flap!!!
This is a great water filter jug but the little flap that covers the spout keeps falling off when I film my kettle and I keep having to fish it out with tongs. Needs to be redesigned so that it stays put on the jug!!. Other than that its fab. Would have liked a glass jug but I suppose that would make the whole thing too heavy when full with water. Good that it lets you know when it needs a new filter and great that you can put the whole thing (except the electronic counting device) in the dishwasher. We use a lot of water so we keep it refilled until the filter is finished then discard the used cartridge and wash the whole thing in the dishwasher before fitting the new filter cartridge.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Brita Elemaris jug - I am very happy with it, but just a Jug!! Unfortunately the Maxtra Filter isn't last long.... :-( Three weeks and that's it. It feel up very quickly with dirts, and that's only with 3 full fillings a week. NOT happy with filter at all. Those filters isn't cheap as well. Fab product!
Everything I was hoping for much cleaner and crisper water and the Maxtra cartridge is holding up really well doing its job! I still can't believe it's my first Brita filter and they invented them in the 1960's wow!! The jug is attractive in appearance but the filling system leaves something to be desired. The plate doesn't always go down far enough to allow the water to pour into the jug. The lid is quite difficult to remove when wanting to clean it.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New

Great water filter

Practical with better tasting water
This is the second jug of its kind that I’ve bought. I like it very much. We live in a hard water area and the water tastes so much better when it’s filtered. My only criticisms are that on my previous jug, the little cap over the spout fell off into the kettle (when I was filing the kettle with filtered water) and it melted in the heat and the mechanism where you fill the jug furred up so quickly with limescale that it wouldn’t close.
