OK if the 12v battery doesn't go dead
Being wireless this requires a 12v LRV08 battery in the transmitter, and there is a maximum distance allowed to the receiver. This is just enough for a mountain bike. First time out it worked well initially although I felt it might have been under reading slightly on distance towards the end of the day. Second time out, about three weeks later, it would only read 0000 speed and distance wise. I traced this to the 12v battery being dead, and I had to go out to try and buy a new one, which I eventually found for £1.49. After that it worked well first time out, but I've not had chance to test it again yet, because the bike is at a holiday home. Incidentally, expect a couple of seconds lag when testing.Verified purchase: YesCondition: New
